4. Cookies, emails, and how long we keep data

Cookies and tracking. The Site uses cookies and similar tools. Some are needed to log you in and run checkout. Others, from Google Analytics and the Meta pixel, help us understand visits and measure ads. Where the law requires it, we'll ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser, opt out of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, and change ad settings in your Meta account.

Emails. If you sign up for a free resource or buy the course, we'll email you about it. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. Even if you unsubscribe, we'll still send emails about your account, purchases, and refunds.

How long we keep it.

Security. We use trusted platforms with encryption and access controls, and we limit who on our team can see student data. No system is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your information, we'll notify you as the law requires.

5. Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

EU, UK, and EEA students. Under the GDPR and UK GDPR, you also have the right to restrict or object to how we use your data, to receive your data in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time. You can file a complaint with your local data protection authority, though we'd appreciate the chance to fix it first.

US state privacy laws. Some states, such as California, give residents similar rights to know, correct, and delete their data. We don't sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising beyond the ad measurement described above. You can opt out of that measurement by declining cookies or contacting us.

To make a request, email [email protected] from the address on your account. We'll respond within 30 days and may need to confirm your identity first.

6. International students

We're based in the United States, and our service providers may store data in the US and other countries. If you're outside the US, your information will be transferred there. Where required, we rely on our providers' approved safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, to protect it.

7. Children

The course is for adults running a business. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our tools or the law change. We'll post the new version here with a new date, and for significant changes we'll email enrolled students.
